The topic assigned to us is the Fundamental Rights and Liberties. In Malaysia, every citizen has nine fundamental rights which guaranteed by the Federal Constitution. Having fundamental rights and liberties is importance because it helps in building a humane society. Besides, it functions to protect the citizen away from an injustice legal system.
In this assignment, I choose to write a reflective base on the Article 8 of the Federal Constitution. I sat the main issue of my reflective as gender equality because I was the only female member in my group. I feel grateful that I was treated equally by my group mates. We were having a good working time together. However, I was curious that “does Malaysia practices gender equality perfectly?” Thus, I wrote a reflective about it.
Next, I would like to express my gratitude to my lecturer, Miss Saratha for her advices regarding the assignment. Furthermore, I want to thank you my group mates because they assisted and inspired me to complete this assignment.
In addition, Taylor’s Graduate Capabilities (TGC) which are the skills that help to increase students’ competitive were developed when I was completing this assignment. For instance, I practiced discipline specific knowledge. I applied the theories learned from lectures into my reflective. Moreover, I achieved interpersonal skill by working as a group in this assignment. I also exercised the interpersonal skill. For example, I completed my part of job individually and on time.
On the other hand, Right in Malaysia is a useful module. It provides us the knowledge of protecting our benefits in our country. We should study this module because the learned knowledge is related to our daily lives. Although it is a law subject but it is fun as our lecturer, Miss Saratha had prepared some interesting activities during tutorials and tutored us patiently.
